@RockstarGames "We hope that 'everyone' will experience the game for themselves on the 19th"
Except the entire PC player base, who get to wait another year+ so you can sell it to them a second (or third) time, like you guys did with GTA V, right?
@redhead_ophelia Okay.
In that case I'm gonna hang a picture of you on my wall and regularly punch it while imagining it's you and I'm killing you.
Since you're not physically here, that means this is a completely normal behaviour and not concerning at all.
What kinda game are we playing here?
1) That is not true. Twitter basically allows you to have any opinion. I constantly see posts from every side of the political spectrum here.
2) If twitter really was as one-sided as you claim, how come the original post got so much traction, and so many people agree and disagree with it?
3) Let's assume that you're right. That simply means that in the free-market, your supposed 'right-wing opinion' is just the dominant one.
Okay, I understand.
But then again, if the developers were confident in their product, and the 'rampaging' was really undeserved, then it wouldn't be a problem, because the game would sell.
I'm not talking about THIS PARTICULAR game, I don't know if Wolverine will sell or not.
But look at a game like Hogwarts Legends. It got shat on twitter but people bought it anyway and it was a success.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion about their hobby, even if sounds childish.
If people didn't criticize the original Sonic trailer, we would have gotten the weird taxidermy version of it.
@itzaDab35@TheGameVerse I mean... of course a lot of people are gonna have shared believes?
You can only have so many unique opinions.
This post was about videogames, something you either like or you don't.
@chillociraptor@MKUltraMoney 'It's childish rampaging to have expectations.'
'There should NEVER be any criticism in the entertainment industry.'
...
This is why we can't have nice things anymore.
That guy's just arguing for the sake of arguing.
I agree with you, we shouldn't judge the game too harshly just based on trailers, and that's what I said originally.
But what my original comment was pointing out is the over-increasing trend in the videogame industry of deflecting criticism.
It doesn't matter if the game is gonna be good or bad, the company needs to accept that right now, this doesn't look appealing to a lot of players.
To me and a lot of other people, this looks like the same boring and re-heated formula they've done for years, and this is a valid opinion.
The level of PR Insomniac has done to invalidate this, and shut down every criticism because: 'entitled gamers', isn't how you should cultivate your audience.
That depends on who's having the conversation.
Reddit is full of fake-empaths narcissists. The whole point of the website now is for those people to show 'how much better than everyone else they are'.
Add on top of that power hungry mods and a system that only rewards extremism.
I honestly just want what's best for people.
Also I'm not your dad and I can't tell you what to do, but listen to what you said:
- "I want to avoid the norwood reaper"
- "I would prefer to be a bit more feminine in looks"
- "I'm a fucking disgrace of a male"
^ This doesn't sound like a person who genuinely believes they're a woman. This sounds like someone who's deeply hurt, has failed-male syndrome or some other internalized complex, and has come to the conclusion that they can only love themselves if they look and behave like a woman.
But it doesn't work.
There's plenty of ways to maintain a more androgynous appearence that doesn't rely on HRT.
But the truth is that if you're a male you're gonna eventually start looking more like a male.
And HRT is not gonna change that.
It doesn't enhance your feminine features, it just erases your masculine ones. Something you're gonna regret when you're older.
I hate to bring this up because it makes me sound like I'm cheering at the death of trans people, but there's a reason so many of them end up taking their own lives. It's because they eventually realize that it never worked. It just took away all of their traits and made them look like bloated, featureless zombies.
@phaiyuratwill 1) Celebrities for voice acting
2) Motion capture for cut-scenes
3) Resources that are only necessary when your team is constantly re-built out of inexperienced and cheaper developers. So you need to spend more money on expensive software to makes up for their lack of experience
