And now, WE ARE THE ONES SUFFERING.

We are real people who spend countless hours building our channels. We deserve to have a real human look at our cases before a decision can destroy everything we’ve built.

I received a copyright strike over THREE SECONDS of a Joe Rogan clip which makes sense but it’s an easy appeal HOWEVER..

I did some digging and the company that filed it appears to have nothing to do with Joe Rogan.

They’re based in California, have hundreds of negative reviews and tons of complaints from people describing similar situations.

Apparently, the scam is to hit creators with copyright strikes and then demand payment to remove them.

How is YouTube allowing this to happen?

I asked Google’s own AI, Gemini, what could happen to YouTube if the FTC sues and wins.

Potential consequences could include:

-Massive financial penalties
-Major reforms to account suspensions and content moderation
-Clearer explanations when channels are terminated or demoted
-A stronger, potentially independent appeals process
-Federal oversight of YouTube’s moderation systems
-In extreme circumstances, forced changes to certain algorithms or AI models

To be clear, YouTube has not YET been formally accused of wrongdoing, but major outlets are reporting that a case is being built by the FTC's attorneys. (CITED BELOW POST)

Creators have been complaining for a long time, and their concerns have finally reached federal authorities.

YouTube has been terminating creators’ accounts with little to no explanation and seemingly no reliable system for resolving mistakes.

Now, the FTC is reportedly preparing a lawsuit against YouTube over allegations that the platform misled users about its content policies before suspending their accounts.

Meta also recently lost a multibillion-dollar lawsuit. No matter how you feel about Trump, his administration appears serious about holding Big Tech accountable when these companies allegedly mistreat their users.

ah yes the additional policy,

but we at @TeamYouTube will not tell you,

what even is the point to appeal the suspension,

if youtube is just gonna find you in violation of another policy,

might as well write all the policies I violate so that I can present my case better,

seems to be a violation of my rights,

especially considering that I reside in the @EU_Commission (European Union),

I suggest @TeamYouTube to DM me at once,

else there will be grave consequences.
