NEW: an ideological divide is emerging between young men and women in many countries around the world.

I think this one of the most important social trends unfolding today, and provides the answer to several puzzles.

Went to Dr. Gao Yaojie's funeral on Monday. It was both sad and empowering. 200+ people showed up despite the rain. When the service was over, the sun beamed through clouds -- how Dr. Gao would like us to feel. What a great, inspiring soul! RIP

After a huge amount of work behind the scenes, the EU's anti-coercion instrument (provoked by 🇨🇳's economic bullying) is approved by the EU Parliament.

Congratulations to the many IPAC members across Europe for the part they have played the measure this far.

#China’s 40y boom is over. What comes next? The economic model that took the country from poverty to great-power status seems broken, and everywhere are signs of distress. https://t.co/gIK37RCG8g (HT @knowledge_vital)
