@paullewismoney She is currently the 8th generation running the business, so surely they've had a similar problem before, when the 7th generation inherited the business?
@cllr_aston Why do we need yet another commission into this? I believe there have already over 20 inquiries of some form or other in recent years.
Surely we already know what the problem is and how it should be fixed?
Why can't our politicians just get on with doing?
@cllr_aston Don't forget, we've been told for years that people can be treated in the community, so we don't need to have loads of hospital beds.
We all know it's a fallacy, and patients are becoming more complex
@paullewismoney I'm beginning to wonder why we give our politicians a salary, as they don't seem to spend it on the things the rest of us would.
They accept clothes, food, holidays, days out and accommodation.
What do they actually pay for themselves?
@OliverCooper@ConHome You really don't understand your party's problem. Look at who you decided were the most popular before! Rishi, Liz, Bozo, Dave. Haven't they left the country in a great state! I hope you idiots pick Badenoch, as she'll keep you out of power for longer
@jodymcintyremp Who's been in power at Westminster for 14 years, dictating what money goes to local councils and how they can spend it?
Birmingham's problems are to do with the denial of the equal pay clams and not setting aside any money in case they lost. Both labour and the tories did this.
@carolvorders You need to look at the revolving door, the seconding of staff, and the 'free' staff that politicians are provided with. Then you can guess why going after them doesn't happen.
