It's the weekend again.
Time to go touch grass and remind myself why I started.
The life I want. The person I want to become. The things I refuse to settle for.
Growth is never comfortable.
Resistance is the price of becoming someone great.
Not everyone on your email list should receive the same email.
Different people have different needs.
That's why segmentation matters.
People with similar interests or behaviors, should receive similar emails.
People don't want more emails. They want more relevant ones.
Email is a push channel, so use it correctly.
Unlike content on social media, you don't have to wait for someone to discover your message.
You can reach people directly.
But, just because you can show up in someone's inbox doesn't mean you should without a good reason.
Hi, it's Sodiq here.
Looking back at my time here on X, I think it's no surprise my account has barely grown.
I usually came here to laugh and pass time.
I've had one of the best networking tools in the world at my fingertips, yet I've barely tapped into its potential.
Your email list isn't just a list of subscribers.
It's a list of people who trusted you enough to give you access to their inbox.
So, every email should either educate, help, entertain, or move the customer closer to a purchase.
Sending an email isn't the same as having a strategy.
It's like going on a road trip without using GPS.
You might eventually reach your destination.
But you'll probably take unnecessary turns and miss opportunities along the way.
The same thing happens in Email marketing.
A strategy helps determine what prospects should receive first, and how best each email can further progress the buyers journey
When you're intentional, you're not just improving metrics. You're creating a better experience for the people receiving your emails.
@thenscguy_@canva I've taken a Canva course before but I never really used it. Will most likely need it to design emails.
Not yet at that stage though.
