The certificate is in high demand in South Africa. You don't need tertiary education or commercial subjects to obtain it, anyone can do it.

Periodic reminder that Kafka is great for many things, but it's not well suited as a store for for event sourcing. You'll need at least efficient key-based look-ups and some means of concurrency control, both which are missing in Kafka. A database will serve you better.
