"These Somalians have taken billions of dollars out of our country... They have a representative, @IlhanMN, who they say married her brother. It's a fraud," says @POTUS.
"Those Somalians should be out of here."

The Muslim World Needs Somalia’s Untapped Power A Turkish-Pakistani-Qatari Airbase with Advanced Jets and Air Defense Systems Is Urgently Needed
Somalia, located at one of the most strategic maritime chokepoints on Earth, has for decades squandered its immense potential in self-destructive infighting and externally fueled divisions. But today, as global power struggles intensify and the Red Sea becomes a new frontline in global geopolitics, it is increasingly clear: the Muslim world can no longer afford to let Somalia’s strategic value go to waste.
The time has come to act not tomorrow, not after another Western conference but now. Somalia’s potential must be unleashed not in isolation, but through a united effort led by the Muslim world’s rising powers: Türkiye, Pakistan, and Qatar.
Somalia is not just a country it is, geopolitically speaking, an unsinkable aircraft carrier positioned at the gate of the Bab al-Mandab Strait and the Gulf of Aden, overseeing maritime flows between Asia, Africa, and Europe. Whoever controls Somalia does not just control land—they control global sea lanes, energy routes, and military reach over the Indian Ocean and the Red Sea.
But Somalia’s fate must no longer be dictated by Washington, London, or Tel Aviv. This land has been held for over a thousand years by Somali Mujahideen warrior clans who raised the banner of Islam across East Africa, defending this key position against imperial and colonial encroachment. They did their part. Now it's our turn.
What Must Be Done: A Joint Airbase Now, Not Later
A fully equipped, jointly operated airbase must be urgently established in Somalia under Turkish-Pakistani-Qatari leadership. This base must house the most advanced air assets in the Muslim world:
—5th-generation fighter jets such as Türkiye’s KAAN,
—Long-range air defense systems,
—Early-warning radar arrays,
—Advanced UAV squadrons, and electronic warfare and anti-stealth capabilities.
Let us not forget: it was Turkish radar systems that successfully detected Israeli F-35 jets—aircraft previously believed to be invisible. And it was Pakistan’s Air Force that shattered the myth of Indian air superiority in mere hours during the 2019 Balakot conflict. The Muslim world already possesses the knowledge, the technology, and the doctrine. What’s missing is unity and will.
Train the Future, Arm the Present
Somalia’s brilliant and driven youth must not be left behind. With proper training, they should be able to operate every major air and defense system in the Islamic world—with the same ease they handle a smartphone. These young men and women should be brought to Ankara, Islamabad, and Doha for elite technical education, and later deployed to safeguard Somalia’s skies, coasts, and borders—not just for Somalia’s sake, but for the Ummah as a whole.
Somalia Must Be Sovereign in the Air
This is no longer a matter of national pride; it is a strategic necessity. Just as Turkish jets recently intercepted Israeli warplanes violating Turkish airspace, Somalia too must be able to defend its skies from all threats—foreign or domestic. Whether confronting foreign surveillance or neutralizing terrorist drones, Somalia must control its airspace with confidence, competence, and clarity of purpose.
Somalia must no longer be a place where foreign powers roam freely or impose their agendas unchecked. It must become a fortress for the Ummah a launchpad for sovereignty, dignity, and deterrence. History is watching. The Red Sea is boiling. Somalia is ready. Now the Muslim world must deliver.
