@JeffLongBP@sweatystartup The Urban Institute put out an article showing that while tuition has stayed stable from 1996-2016 for low and middle income students, the average amount of grants has doubled or tripled after taking inflation into account.
Only people paying full tuition have rich parents.
@jsbearr Chaining is going to hurt for the value of a pitcher. But for a hitter, it sets up a platoon situation. Figuring out the value of replacing a hitter with the worst splits should be doable.
@HalSinger Presumably, all else equal, people are more likely to default on a loan charging 12% interest than 10% interest. Also harder to find people willing to borrow at 12% than 10%.
@jsbearr I worked at a place with unlimited vacation. There were rules to make sure you didn't abuse it, but it was reasonable as long as you got your work done.
@tangotiger Or the people taking your poll got it wrong.
It's easy to test. Compare the difference in value between those two relievers vs the value of adding another batter that can hit lefties to replace a batter that struggles.
@econsarahreber Solar United Neighbors runs solar co-ops to help households buy solar panels. I recommend joining and letting them get a bid for you. They have one that you closes at the end of August. https://t.co/UYFOvMvTC9
@BirdsEyeViewBal He has a good FIP/xFIP. I'd like to see him develop his curve/slider to be a better weapon against lefties with two strikes. I wouldn't call him a dominant closer or anything, but he's good a bullpen piece.
@Bonzi777 The 40 weeks start from the first day of the mother's last period, so I'd think she's not pregnant for the entire time period.
So, theoretically, I'd go with nine months. But in practice, your wife is right regardless of whatever her argument is.
@tangotiger @ChubbyRainmaker You definitely have to do your due diligence. Project Sunroof (run by Google) will give you an idea of whether you're a viable candidate.
There should be a Solar co-op in your area that can help (Solar United Neighbors). You won't get a deal, but also not ripped off.
