I can't confirm any of this, but I'm at least hearing the rumors.

1) GPT-6-Sol will be another significant leap forward; its price-performance ratio compared to Astra will be surprisingly good. Most likely, it will be released on Tuesday.

2) Opus 5.5, in response to OpenAI's move, is also expected this week, today or tomorrow. A significant leap forward; OpenAI and Anthropic are currently neck and neck. Opus is a response to GPT-6-Sol.

What's new to me is that "Bel" is internally referred to as AGI. Considering the graph, which still shows how quickly OpenAI's models continue to improve, this isn't surprising (graph below).

I built a voice controlled computer-use for my mac using @typesafeai's Jev and it's INSANE how fast it is!

I can dictate "open the notes app and create..." and the app opens before I even finish my sentence.

But…..I wonder…..what would it take to make a local model do what Jev does?

Yes, we can make any model simply output multiple choice answers….I put Jev head to head vs a local model and Jev killed it on speed. It’s good.

Stats ——> Jev 96% at 118 ms vs Qwen3.6-35B on my Mac Studio 93.5% at 359 ms (sorting 200 text messages into spam or not spam). Those 200 Jev calls cost me about a quarter of a cent.

It’s closed weights and uses a new training algorithm called RLCD. Who is going to crack this for local first?
