“15-year-old Gia Jansen has been reported missing after leaving her home in Klipfontein on Monday morning, 14 September 2026, at around 06:15. She was travelling in scholar transport to Hoërskool Kempton Park.

The driver reportedly says Gia was dropped off at the school, but the school says she was absent. She has not returned home, and her family has reported her missing.

Police have opened a missing-person case at Rabie Ridge Police Station, and detectives are investigating what happened and where she may be.
