Hey all! Thank you for your patience as we settle back into our lives. Rockets and airplanes going well ;) Keeping many ideas for Faraday in thought when we jump back in! https://t.co/rDqJKVaLg4
@SpaceComms1@gnuradio@faradayrf@BrucePerens What a great first day. Lots of @gnuradio users here and plenty more newly introduced! ORI got significant traction and enthusiasm. We aim to make good on our mission. @faradayrf highly popular! Come buy a Trans-Ionospheric badge and support open source amateur radio work.
@_danilo Thanks for the interest! We do not have an ETA on the hardware as we are working to get the faradayio software/firmware out first. Please keep in touch.
Currently debugging the last known issue affecting @faradayrf's new firmware. Once fixed should provide full throughput network interface over RF. I've got a race condition to solve!
First transmissions with FaradayIO software/firmware! Sending a 1000 byte packet every 50ms over #hamradio#amateurradio! One-way for now. Lots of work left but this is exciting! https://t.co/7fuowWiGnc
Aaaannnddddd.... Packet successfully recieved on @faradayrf using the new FaradayIO. Had a logic bug. Need to clean and document, map our some logic to futureproof. All 255 bytes including RSSI and LQI on rx'd packet:
You can now `pip3 install faradayio-cli` , a TUN adapter for Faraday radios. This weekend we'll hopefully test it with firmware and have IP traffic over #hamradio#amateurradio working at >=10kbps speed with Faraday radios! @kb1lqd @Eli_Barton @github
