Can we talk about how Jules basically went from being one of #Euphoria's MAIN characters to barely getting 1โ2 minutes per episode in Season 3? ๐ญ
Back in Seasons 1 and 2, Jules wasn't just Rue's love interest.
She WAS the story.
The Nate storyline, the Tyler mystery, the special episode, her relationship with Rue, her identity journey, her family struggles
Jules was at the center of almost everything.
Then Season 3 arrives and suddenly she's reduced to brief appearances while the show focuses on Rue, Cassie, Nate, Laurie, Alamo and the criminal world.
I think it was intentional.
This season wasn't about Rue's relationships. It was about Rue's survival.
The show shifted away from high school drama and focused more on addiction, crime, consequences and redemption.
Unfortunately, Jules became one of the casualties of that shift.
The weird part is that every time Jules DID appear, her scenes were important: the breakup, the church scenes, the arguments with Rue, the finale conversations.
It almost felt like the Sam Levinson still knew she mattered... He just didn't know where to fit her into this darker version of the story.
I can't be the only one who feels Jules deserved WAY more screen time this season
