Antara punca kenapa kita masih terpaksa menerima berita sedih macam ni ialah kerana gesaan rakyat yang bermusim.

Kerajaan tahu, dia cakap akan wujudkan Badan Siasatan, Komiti Siasatan, dia tangkap sorang dua, dah…. Rakyat senyap.

Undang-undang sama. Syarikat tutup, owner bukak syarikat lain.

Agensi APAD, masih tak cukup kuasa.

PDRM dan JPJ, masih kekurangan anggota penguatkuasa.

Ada nampak perangai lori bas berubah? Ada bas express berhenti bagi high beam kat fast lane kat MRR2 suruh kau ke tepi?

Ada nampak penguatkuasaan seatbelt untuk bas dibuat?

Ada pemeriksaan speed limiter? Adakah ia wajib pun?

Ada suruh pasang black box? Kos lebih untuk pengusaha? Nak meniaga, keluar la duit. Keuntungan tokey lebih penting, atau nyawa kita? Ke sebab kita je naik bas?

Adakah kita periksa penggunaan tayar celup dengan kadar muatan yang betul? Sekali lagi, risau pemilik syarikat bising kos akan meningkat? Deal with it.

Ada tak agensi agensi kerajaan lain lantang bersuara bab keselamatan jalanraya sejak setahun dua ni? Kenapa senyap? Adakah takut? Atau tak ada kapasiti untuk bersuara sebagai pemimpin?

Memang ada perubahan dibuat, lebih baik dari dulu tapi pokok pangkalnya, none brave enough to disrupt the norm.

Saya sokong speed camera paling canggih dalam dunia dipasang di Malaysia, yang boleh tahu berapa laju kau bawak dari detik kau keluar rumah sampai kau tiba depan pintu opis, tapi will those cameras help to save 15 anak-anak yang hilang sekelip mata?

Anak anak yang ibubapanya jaga seperti menatang emas, anak anak yang bakal menaikkan nama agama dan kaum, anak anak yang boleh membantu keluarga mereka sendiri.

Jangan sampai isu isu ini jadi isu kaum sebab ia hanya akan memudaratkan semua pihak.

Please change the laws. The rakyat have had enough of this stupid drama.
