On Canada Day, we give thanks for the inheritance entrusted to us by our founders: a country rooted in freedom, responsibility, and a shared commitment to one another strengthened by generations of Canadians who built, served, and sacrificed.
Laureen and I wish everyone a Happy Canada Day! 🇨🇦
This is one of the best takedowns of Mark Carney I’ve seen.
He’s not a businessman. He’s never run a company. He’s never met a payroll. He’s a lifelong bureaucrat who somehow convinced people he’s some kind of economic genius.
The guy actually went on TV in Atlantic Canada and downplayed steel tariffs because “we don’t use that much steel.” That’s not just tone-deaf — that’s fundamental ignorance of how manufacturing, auto, and resource sectors actually work in this country.
Carney keeps all the worst Trudeau-era policies in place — emissions caps, anti-oil and gas rules, the whole net-zero scam — but now he can personally override them whenever he wants. If those policies were good, why does he need an override button? He’s admitting they’re damaging Canada but refuses to scrap them.
He’s concentrating more power in the PMO than ever, acting like the King of Canada while surrounding himself with the same failed Trudeau retreads. His own caucus is still pushing the climate nonsense that’s been proven to waste billions and make life more expensive for regular people.
Meanwhile, oil and gas — our single biggest export earner — is still being deliberately held back. Provincial trade barriers are still choking the economy. And the same people who created this mess are still in charge, still pocketing money from the climate grift while average Canadians get squeezed.
This government was a failure under Trudeau. Under Carney it’s just a more polished version of the same failure.
Less government. Lower taxes. Cut the red tape. Develop our resources. Stop robbing the middle class to enrich insiders.
That’s the only reset that actually works.

CFIA still restricting ostrich farmers seven months after destroying healthy flock
Just days after supporters gathered at Universal Ostrich Farms to help clean up the aftermath of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency's controversial $7 million ostrich cull, the family says it is once again facing government overreach.
Despite the agency's controversial destruction of the avian flu-recovered flock in November 2025, the family says it is still being prevented from effectively cleaning up the former kill-pen site. The scene of the cull left behind by the state includes large piles of hay, including some blood-soaked bales and ammunition that the family says can pose a combustion risk to the community.
"They left us with no income. They left us with no means to be able to do anything... We decided we can't wait anymore, and we decided to take this on our own," farm co-owner Karen Espersen told Rebel News when I interviewed her about this latest challenge.
According to Espersen, the farm made repeated pleas to government agencies for help cleaning up the mess, but to no avail. Believing they had satisfied what they understood to be the CFIA's 180-day post-cull quarantine requirement, the family welcomed supporters to come help tackle the massive cleanup effort.
Realizing that even with the first attempts to clean they were only scratching the surface, Espersen made a final plea to the CFIA for assistance.
Instead of receiving help, the family received an email from the CFIA stating that the quarantine remained in effect and warning that "no movement of vehicles, equipment, or things, out of or into, the biocontainment zones can occur without a CFIA licence."
The agency further warned that violations "may result in enforcement actions," including administrative monetary penalties or prosecution. Espersen says the response stunned the family, particularly after supporters had already begun helping with cleanup efforts.
"They said if we were to remove any hay and anybody or equipment that wants to come onto the property now needed a permit. So now they have to give up all their personal information. They have to have their equipment, everything listed with the CFIA," said Espersen.
"Everybody that was coming for during the week to actually help us, I had to contact each person. They said, we're trying to get this sorted out. I don't know how we could still be in a quarantine after the way they conducted their quarantine while they were here. And everybody had pets and everybody said, 'I'm so sorry, but we cannot put our name down for CFIA. We don't trust them.'"
But that isn't the only example of alleged government overreach emerging seven months after the cull.
I also interviewed Espersen's niece, Alyson Turnbull, whose family is still seeking justice after their neighbouring property was seized and occupied by the CFIA and RCMP for more than 50 days during the operation.
During our conversation, Turnbull pointed to what she alleges are false statements contained in the RCMP's response to her family's lawsuit, including claims regarding accommodations made for her mother's epilepsy.
"We have video of everything that we put in our lawsuit. We made sure that I didn't put anything in there that I don't have proof of," Turnbull told Rebel News.
These latest developments come as Rebel News is in the final production phase of our feature-length documentary examining the destruction of hundreds of ostriches, Culling the Cure.

REPORT by @DreaHumphrey:
Tick bites are now transferring a virus known as the ‘Powassan virus’
One man got bit and is now in the hospital and he can’t even speak or move. There is no cure or vaccine. Unlike Lyme disease where the tick has to be attacked to you for 36 hours, a tick carrying Powassan virus only need to be attached to you for 15 minutes
“Powassan can cause severe neurological problems”
Current active cases
• Massachusetts (5 cases)
• New York (1)
• Wisconsin (1)
The damage can be permanent and take years to show any recovery if any
🚨 THEY SAID THE TICK INVASION WAS A CONSPIRACY. NOW THIS IS HAPPENING.
First it was Lyme disease.
Then Alpha-Gal.
Now doctors are warning about Powassan virus, a rare tick-borne illness that can reportedly cause severe neurological damage.
One man spent weeks hospitalized after a tick bite.
Another reportedly suffered brain damage before his family was forced to make a heartbreaking decision.
Meanwhile, people across the U.S., Canada, and Europe are reporting what feels like an explosion in tick populations.
And that's where things get strange.
A viral whistleblower post claimed aircraft were being used to disperse ticks across parts of Canada.
Officials dismissed the idea.
But the reports keep coming.
More ticks.
More illnesses.
More warnings.
Officials say warmer winters are helping tick populations survive and spread.
Others think there's much more to the story.
Be honest: do you think the exploding tick populations are completely natural... or do you think something else is going on?
Mark Carney thought he picked the perfect Budget Officer to protect his fiscal fairy tale.
He picked the wrong person.
Today in committee, Annette Ryan dropped the bombshell:
The government’s own fiscal plan to bring the deficit-to-GDP ratio down has **less than a 1% chance** of actually happening.
That’s not my words. That’s the Parliamentary Budget Officer’s office saying there’s a **99% chance** the Liberals’ numbers are pure fiction.
Kelly Block asked the obvious follow-up:
“So for the average Canadian watching at home… there’s a 99% chance the government’s plan doesn’t unfold the way they say it will?”
Annette Ryan: “I think that is a fair statement.”
She then laid out the risks: trade war with the U.S., Middle East chaos hitting oil and supply chains, and wildly inflated stock markets that could unwind painfully.
Meanwhile, the same government that can’t even hit its own cooked-up targets is still spending like drunken sailors, importing millions more people, and sending billions overseas while Canadians can’t afford rent or groceries.
This is the same crowd the ex-military veteran warned about yesterday — the one saying if they don’t fix this, we’re heading for civil war in ten years.
Now their own numbers guy just admitted the plan has a **1% chance** of working.
Carney didn’t accidentally pick an honest person.
He picked someone who just torched his entire economic pitch in front of the country.
The mask is off.

🚨 CRITICAL MOMENT: Will Canada remain a free nation or become a surveillance state? Bill #C22 is the biggest threat to our digital privacy yet. Canadians successfully defeated "lawful access" laws before—it's time to do it again. Contact your MP today & demand they defeat C-22!
The Liberals want it ALL linked to one Digital ID that can be shut off when they want🚨. Healthcare, banking, licenses, food, travel, e-commerce, social media, taxes, voting, EI, cellphones. Step out of line? They toggle your "validity" to OFF. Wake up, Canada.🛑🇨🇦 #NoDigitalID
It should alarm every Canadian that the primary use the Liberals have made of their new, backroom, bribe-bought majority has been to ram through legislation that censors the internet, spies on citizens, and lays the groundwork for a virtual surveillance state.
🚨 Canada’s institutional capture is now complete.
Since 2015 the Liberals have appointed:
⚖️ 740 of 1,000 federal judges
🏛️ 7 of 9 Supreme Court justices
📜 100 of 105 senators
📰 Fund 30% of every reporter’s salary in Canada
And that’s just the foundation.
Add to that:
📺 CBC: $1.4B annually to defend the Liberal narrative
🏦 Bank of Canada: Redefining recession in real time
📊 StatsCan: Counting Census workers as permanent jobs
📬 Senate: Hiding 240,000 democratic postcards in a warehouse
🌐 Bill C-8: MPs can delete you from the internet without a judge
🎙️ Carney on tape: Admitting central bankers bypassed voters on ESG
They control the courts.
They control the Senate.
They control the Supreme Court.
They control the media funding.
They control the state broadcaster.
Now they want to control the internet.
Not one institution left standing independently.
This is not democracy.
This is managed decline with Canadian characteristics.
And most Canadians are still waiting for CBC to tell them about it.

Access to the internet should never require digital ID.
It’s almost certain that Canada will eventually implement these overreaching measures being used in the UK.
We are sleepwalking into a totalitarian state.
10 June: Canada tables an under-16 social media ban + age checks for everyone.
Five days later, Starmer announces the same for Britain.
Same policy. Same timing. Same “safety” language.
Coincidence - or another piece of the global censorship agenda?
This threat was allegedly so dangerous that that the farm and adjoining properties were seized by armed police for 52 days before 1000 gunshots rang out in the dark of night.
Unbelievably, the very next day that threat seemed to no longer exist?
Make it make sense!
