Absolutely the worst customer experience of my life.

Booked an Uber ride that was clearly showing around ₹253 in the app. The driver then ignored the route shown on Uber, took a completely different route for no reason, and after dropping us, the fare suddenly became ₹479.79.

If Uber shows one price and then silently changes it after the ride, what is the point of even showing an estimated fare?
This is unacceptable, misleading, and feels like a complete scam.
