Between the post and the few comments I've read, this is another example of why I'm starting to lose faith in the human race...ironically I am posting this while planting corn.
🚨Congress just SCREWED your gas tank… again!!!!
They just approved 15% ethanol (E15) in gasoline year-round…
That’s why your car is getting terrible mileage, idling like shit, and running sluggish. Ethanol is weak fuel…you’re literally paying MORE to go less far while your engine suffers.
All so Big Corn and their lobbyists can keep getting rich on this “green” scam.
Meanwhile, these same climate cultists will hop on their private jets tonight, eat $200 steaks, and lecture you about carbon footprints. But, SURE…let’s force inferior fuel on your car to “save the planet.” 🙄🤬
The DC HYPOCRISY IS SICKENING!
Who else is noticing their gas mileage has completely tanked lately? Drop it below. 👇
@braunfarm The life cycle energy use of each to erect and create would be interesting. Then the energy to properly decommission each way as well. It's above my pay grade
@WiBeanBag Corn and soybeans are a commodity....bigger picture, industry to "service us" adapts all the while some of use produce the commodity in the same way we have. Others produce it differently than they have but in a way to check the box. Others exit. Just my 2 cents.
@WiBeanBag It's utopian system in your world until the "achiellies heel " moment is realized and then you find what tool needs to be in the toolbox. I think in the end farmers will repeat where we are now, we will produce enough corn / beans and we still won't be profitable.
@WiBeanBag You also said "strip till" and need to remember that everyone doesn't index fert when they strip. Indexing is a very efficient way to use fertilizer but can be a very difficult way to apply fertilizer especially dry products. Depending on seasonality a SP can be a nice way
@MaxROIFarmer Haven't owned one or run one but from having growers with them either the 92xx or 93xx CaseIH Steigers or New Holland 9xxx...either with 855/N14 cummins
