A pet-peeve of mine is how people get MORE upset over self-inflicted losses than the alternative way to lose.

A self destruction like the Titans just suffered is infuriating, no doubt. In a vacuum, it’s so deflating.

But some folks came into this game expecting the Bears to WHIP Tennessee. Couldn’t have been further from the reality.

How do you think Panthers fans feel today? Knowing they’re just DOA this year? How would you feel right now if the Titans had gotten killed and looked completely out-classed?

Beating yourself stings like a sunnuvagun for a moment. But there is optimism to be drawn from it. And it CERTAINLY beats the alternative.

You can fix “talented but way too many awful mistakes”. You can’t fix “they just suck”.

Many NFL scouts reportedly believe Sanders’ ability to operate within the pocket has looked “elite” as well so far.
