Legit question. Why should data and airtime have expiry dates?

Data and Airtime are not perishable goods, and that they expire when not used with a certain period of time contributes to the struggles of access to information for ordinary poor citizens!

Shoprite does not fetch bread in my house if I don’t eat it within 2-days. I bought it, I own it and should use it as I see fit.

The EFF says down with airtime and data expiration mandates!
