Lords plot to derail women’s rights guidance – leaked papers show Stonewall-linked peers trying to block EHRC rules on single-sex spaces. @MForstater: “It’s devastating to see a group of peers in the House of Lords plotting to thwart the law.”

Surrogacy = violence, exploitation & abuse.
Women’s bodies are not markets.
Children are not products.
The world must act, it’s time to abolish surrogacy in all its forms.

We spoke recently to a mother whose girls play @LadiesFootball. She said something we think every person involved in Gaelic Games who values the physical, mental and emotional well-being of children should hear.
"You know, I have always told my girls not to be afraid to speak up, or tell someone, when they think something isn't right or if they feel they are being treated unfairly. But now they are being told by the LGFA they should keep quiet about having to play against boys who have an unfair advantage over them. They are asking girls to ignore their instincts. They are telling them that something the girl feels is wrong is actually OK and they shouldn't say anything."
The LGFA's policy of male inclusion is a massive safeguarding fail: this must be addressed.
Because the male sex is consistently, over time and culture, a greater risk to the female sex. The male sex creates a body that is consistently stronger and faster than a female body.
Women have a right to single sex female spaces, where they undress or sleep, receive counselling as survivors of male sexual violence or when competing in sports involving speed and strength.
Expect cases like this to happen here in Ireland if @rodericogorman and @dcediy succeed in adding "gender identity" to our anti-discrimination equality legislation

Even IF Khelif and Lin weren’t XY. Even IF they never win another fight. The IOC rule that admits anyone into women’s competition if they have F on a passport is wrong.
It’s a policy that prioritises inclusion over safety. It prioritises gender identity over sex.
Why have you shut off replies @AnnelieseDodds?
What is a woman?
Is a man w a piece of paper a woman?
If you want women to have access to sport then you & @lisanandy need to get all men out of the Female category NOW!

Hello @NewstalkFM 👋3 years ago, we commissioned the first independent poll on gender issues in Ireland, conducted by RedC. We found that women and men prefer single-sex facilities! 62% of respondents wanted single-sex toilets. This survey was conducted before the widespread introduction of mixed-sex toilets in public spaces. If we ran this poll again, we are confident the preference for single-sex facilities would be even higher. We believe the introduction of mixed-sex facilities is driven by trans ideology. Women have a right under our Equal Status Acts to single-sex spaces and toilets.
Laoise @anliathluachra , Countess CEO, would be happy to come on one of the Newstalk shows to discuss this further. You can read and download our RedC poll at this link: https://t.co/GhXsu1doEQ
SPORT: @swimireland has released its Transgender and Non-Binary Participation and Competition Policy. Swim Ireland is protecting women’s swimming. There will be a Female category based on birth sex and an Open category for males, including men who identify as transgender and non binary and any competitor not eligible for the female category. Swim Ireland determined that prioritisation of fair competition must take precedence over male inclusion. #SaveWomensSports
Letter in today's @IrishTimes
Please contact the NCCA today about this; see @TheCountessIE for more information.
Public consultation closes tomorrow June 7th!
SCHOOLS: The National Council for Curriculum and Assessment @NCCAie is consulting on Draft Primary Curriculum. We call all parents to demand that NCCA STOP/PAUSE the implementation process of the revised primary curriculum.
The Consultation Process on the Curriculum Specification Document will close on 07.06.24. This document lacks information about the content of what children will be taught. It talks about aims, goals, processes to achieve them, aspirations and principles, diversity, inclusion, equity, citizenship, and social justice, but little about what the children are being taught, especially in SPHE.
