@parti_king This shit is disgusting. @sidetalknyc you need to acknowledge and be accountable for the type of attitude you've created for young and casual Knicks fans. This is not how fans act.
@ScottKarvelis@Metsmerized Agreed on the attention part. But more teams will have a chance in early June if owners spend on players and make talent spread more evenly across the league. There are only 3 teams in the entire AL right now that aren't hovering at or well below .500. That's not good.
@ScottKarvelis@Metsmerized Fans were engaged in the 50s with just two playoff spots. The expanded WC just lets owners field weaker teams and still boost sales. Fanbases will be engaged if owners are forced to actually field competitive teams. Every team should be trying to buy at the deadline.
@unamuno22@BradGalli No, that's not what I said. But a game played by humans that make mistakes is beautiful. Some of these "blown" calls are the most legendary moments in baseball. Jackie Robinson "safe" at home in '55. The pine tar incident. Blown calls showcase the humanity in baseball.
Last year, on a visit to Citi Field, I noticed how much louder and more frequent the music and effects between pitches and innings had gotten.
It got me wondering…why are ballparks trying to turn baseball into an arena sport?
I investigated for @FOS:
@oneshiningmets This is the biggest red flag that shows that Stearns is not who we thought he was. This is a self-preservation move that does not help the franchise in the long run. Winning is good, period. Mendoza doesn't help us win unfortunately. These rookies NEED to win to develop well.
