@RossKneeDeep My brother and I were in grade school and my older brother was in Middle School and we made a family event of sitting down and watching it on TV everyone was required to be present. I will be forever grateful that my parents required us to watch it.

Just received the contract from the publishing house I'll be working with. It's a great contract! Now I just have to get over my fear that no one's going to like my books LOL though I think the new one I'm writing is going to be great! It's a story unlike any I've heard before.

@KrakeJames Depends on your audience. Are you writing to an age group and/or an audience with the expertise that would allow them to understand the nautical terms? If not scrap them and use the regular descriptions. You can always introduce the technical terms in dialogue later.
