I never knew how much juice was left in my PS5 controller when using it on my Mac, so i made a little menu bar app to show it

Sharing it in case anyone else finds it useful:

My ROG Azoth Extreme has a tiny OLED, and ASUS's Mac app won't let you put your own GIFs on it.
Turns out the feature ships in the app. The UI just hides it with one line:
isMAC ? null : <UploadPanel />
So I got Claude Code to unlock it:

Claude Code unpacked the app, recovered its source from the bundled source maps, and decoded the USB packet log. I made the calls and tested every step on the keyboard.
The result is a small Python script that sends the request the hidden upload panel would send.
@zeeg Ah, I understand the frustrating point. I find myself going through Unreads and Threads on a daily basis more than the rest of the UI too. If the conversations were at least collapsed in the threads view, it would be much easier to navigate.
Dear X, please filter out all the negative comments about GTA VI. They don't know what they're talking about. What a masterpiece. I can't wait to play it.
@zeeg Yes, if you treat it as a test harness rather than a docs site. Ours runs a11y checks that fail CI, Vitest browser pixel diffs, and Figma links per story. The docs come free.
I didn't dig into the reason, but it's weird how we have to restart the session for mcp changes to reflect. This should be a basic out of the box thing. Reminds me of apps that require a computer restart for them to take effect.
