Usually 3 days. Search for a PADI certificate. I almost got it in Hoi An, but didn't because of bad weather. In Da Nang, most likely diving will be in the Cham Islands.
As for the dive itself, most of the corals there are dead because of trash. But that shouldn't affect certification.
