We got into Y Combinator to kill AI slop for mobile apps.
15,000+ users. 16,000+ projects. 96 million lines of code later, we’re finally ready to introduce Fastshot.
The team:
→ @DmitryFatkhi was building agents for @GoogleDeepMind teams at @Google
→ @elvirafortune was part of the team that created @kubeflow and built AI developer tools at @Google
→ @alexndrsukhanov scaled streaming for security cameras at @meraki
We're the only AI mobile app builder that aligns with you at the design stage — before anything gets built.
Describe → Design → Build → Ship.
No more vibe-coded looking apps.
No more wasting credits fixing ugly visuals.
All in one platform.
Welcome to how the future of apps should be built.
🚨 #UltimateAppSprint. Winners are here🚨
We kicked off #UltimateAppSprint with one goal:
turn ideas into side hustles.
One month later: 100+ apps built, monetized from day one, thanks to @adapty
Huge shoutout to everyone who showed up, built, and brought their ideas to life 🚀
Now it’s time to meet the winners:
🥇 1st Place: SafeHandoff by @trikcode
Replacing “text me when you get home” with automatic safety alerts to trusted contacts.
🥈 2nd Place: ShiftMetric by @Dirk_SenT
Tracking nurses’ physical workload and turning it into actionable data.
🥉 3rd Place: Contestly by @QiRifky
Discover, track, and manage online contests, never miss an opportunity.
Congrats to everyone who built and shipped 🚀
More details about each app below 👇
🥇 1st Place #UltimateAppSprint: SafeHandoff
Millions of people rely on “text me when you get home” as their safety plan,
and it fails more often than we think. SafeHandoff replaces that with automation.
→ Set a check-in timer before any potentially risky situation, and if you don’t check in, an alert is automatically sent to your emergency contact with your details.
→ It also introduces a duress phrase—a secret word you can say out loud to silently trigger an alert, without raising suspicion.
Because personal safety shouldn’t depend on someone else checking their phone.
→ Already live on the App Store https://t.co/aXTBoXDHEF
🥉 3rd Place #UltimateAppSprint: Contestly
Finding and managing online contests is fragmented and inefficient.
Users jump between platforms, miss deadlines, and lose opportunities simply because there’s no centralized system.
→ Contestly fixes that by bringing everything into one place:
helping users discover, track, and manage contests without missing a beat.
Because opportunities shouldn’t be lost to chaos.

→ Built by @QiRifky
🥈 2nd Place #UltimateAppSprint: ShiftMetric
Healthcare workers are physically overworked, yet lack objective data to prove it.
→ When it comes to injury claims or staffing disputes, they’re forced to rely on memory instead of evidence, often putting them at a disadvantage.
ShiftMetric changes that by tracking nurses’ physical workload and turning it into actionable data,
giving them the proof they need to stand up for themselves.

Thank you @fastshot_ai for hosting the Hackathon! It was my first Hackathon and the experience of vibe coding with fastshot was exceptional! My trick is to talk through your idea with another AI first and ask it to write the prompt that you could put in fastshot
Yesterday at the Stanford × DeepMind Hackathon. I was blown away by the incredible work from other teams. Built a group decision app + presentation in just 3 hours with @fastshot_ai.
Key takeaway: shifting from design thinking to agent thinking.
