@CJPhillips1982 They've done nothing and we'd gifted them the goals. But mistakes happen and if we had not tried to walk the ball into the net it wouldn't be an issue at all. We must be more clinical. But we don't need the fixtures so maybe it's a blessing in disguise.
@blueroomsufc At the time a couple of my mates thought it was a cross from our view in the East Black's... probably because it's a sublime skill way above the usual ability of a NL footballer! Definitely an intentional chip and if Messi had done it then everyone would be raving about it!
@SUEPAssoc One of the most talked about matches ever. But his goals weren't free kicks; one was a diving header and the second came almost immediately Newport had taken the kick off after our 3rd. Gerry won the ball just inside their half, strode forward and struck an unstoppable shot in.
@Astonvillaandy@Vanarama@TheVanaramaNL@ChesterfieldFC@Official_NCFC And financially beneficial as well. We both remember the days before the play offs I'm sure, when there was very little last day drama and mid table teams had weeks of dead rubbers with poor crowds and nothing to play for. I know what I prefer (it is tough on Notts though!)
@Astonvillaandy@Vanarama@TheVanaramaNL@ChesterfieldFC@Official_NCFC I agree should be 3 up 3 down but with any play off system you get anomalies where teams with fewer points triumph over the ones who finished higher in the league. The only way to avoid that is abolish the play offs and I don’t think many people want that. They’re too exciting.
@41NS@JonathanPieNews@BBCNews@XRebellionUK The BBC can't win... they're either state controlled by the Tory government or too left wing.
Which to me suggests they're probably quite balanced and it's the people that are the problem as they are not hearing what they want to hear.
@AllisonPearson Perhaps they didn't feel intimidated by it if the rage wasn't aimed at them maybe? There's a big difference between rage and sulks and bullying.
