We both remember the days before the play offs I'm sure, when there was very little last day drama and mid table teams had weeks of dead rubbers with poor crowds and nothing to play for. I know what I prefer (it is tough on Notts though!)

The only way to avoid that is abolish the play offs and I don’t think many people want that. They’re too exciting.
