@OllieAFCB What are we doing is defining something statistically hard. They are co-dependent. For someone to come in on election and leave, his predecessor needs to leave on one, and next guy start on one, so you have 2 pts/2 people and any failure breaks. If it flips, you may get a streak

@brucemillington I love to slate bookmakers, but for once this is a punter issue. A race with 20 runners at 16/1 each (without any more information) is very well defined. Takes a lot of work to start discounting all the other runners, and introducing a new finishing line, to make it unclear??

If they just voided the "odd" bit and left them with the cover that would be very harsh on them, so they have no option really. Void has to be immediate.

@nishikoripicks is flat stakes the same stake for all bets, or the same total value (bet+win) for all bets? given the implied curve seems that you could fix it simply by modifying stakes (ie you are betting too much at higher prices - which would be the case for the same stake all prices)

@Golfpunter1 Ive seen a bar-code corrupt before. Ticket reads as a completely different one. Its possible another punter scanned the barcode, got a happy surprise when he saw the "wrong" outcome, cashed it and kept schtum.

@betangel not sure it counts as abuse if you choose to stop betting for a period to manage your P/L. Guys who get hit hardest are ante-post traders who bet all year but settle the lot in a couple of weeks at season-end. Their thresholds could even be 52 years !

@CaanBerryTrader @chrisgambler247 @Golfpunter1 Heres a (very late) thought. This EF is really bad for ante-post traders. Since they only use 52 active weeks, if you trade all year but settle all at the end, this is only 1 "active week" and all the thresholds are over decades not 1 year.
