What many people don't realize is that Democrats are already granted at least 8-10 free Congressional seats in overwhelmingly Republican states because of the Civil Rights regime. The game has been rigged in their favor for decades and we pretend like this is neutral.

Without those free Congressional districts, the Democratic Party would have to pivot hard to the Right in order to be competitive in Congressional elections.

For example, you could give Democrats every single tossup district in the country right now, and they'd still lose the House if the VRA were struck down + Indiana redistricts.
