@BaggieBoing@henrywinter Some matches are played in air conditioned stadiums and some aren't. Kick off times vary. There are loads of variable factors. Every match doesn't need a hydration break.
@derekbaillie69@AngelaRayner Because - apart from the tax on business - everything else you list has been exaggerated by opportunistic snake oil salesmen to be far more significant than it actually is.
@OldStationSt@AaronBastani I would start even cheaper. Just cut the grass in the parks and grass verges. The city looks like shit - overgrown grass, weeds and dandelions everywhere. If the council can't be bothered to keep things looking tidy it's no surprise many residents don't care either.
@AaronBastani The way Starmer keeps harping on about the £117 reduction just shows how out of touch he is. £117 a year just doesn't touch the sides in the cost of living crisis. My energy costs alone are at least £80 a month higher than a few years ago.
@FillyKris@kevinhatchard Palace wanted a lot more than 35m initially. But accepting 35 the end shows they would have accepted 45 early on - and then had lots of time to find a replacement. It's Liverpools penny pinching that cost them. I CB was a higher priority than Isak.
@lambert_1922@kevinhatchard I think you are missing the point. Palace wanted more money earlier in the window but Liverpool dragged their feet so they eventually accepted 35. But then their replacement fell through so the whole deal collapsed. If we'd paid 40/45 early in the window we would have got him.
@Roydini25@TouchlineX@martynziegler You don't understand the idea of drawing a line. There will always be marginal cases where it is unclear whether the attacker is fully past the defender or whether a part of the body is in line. You have to draw a line so therefore there will always be close calls.
@Roydini25@TouchlineX@martynziegler So how far does 'the whole body' have to be offside. By a cm? a mm? a tenth of a mm? the width of a toenail? You are still drawing a line, just in a different place.
