Their Majesties, King CharlesIII and Queen Camilla, were such wonderful hosts. The Royal Family turned out in full force to give the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the First Lady, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu and the Nigerian delegation an unforgettable welcome.

So many things to say about the #APCNationalSummit today but the highlight for me was how the President once again showed how sound his mind was and how much he is abreast of the situation at hand in the country.

Considering that former speakers at the event included Professor Ali Pate, Rt Hon Abass and others, the president stood out once again by displaying the characteristics that made him the leader that he is.

While talking about the various reforms he has been undertaking during the event, he quickly, albeit jokingly, chided the National Assembly members for delaying “his” tax reform bills.

“Where are the tax bills and when are you returning them to us?” he queried pointing to Sen Akpabio and Speaker Abass.

The mood of the whole banquet was noticeably different. This is a President that knows what he is doing; one who speaks from a place of genuineness. The whole hall knew!

Looks have betrayed President Tinubu too much and overtime I have come to the conclusion that even though it has become his greatest weapon, if he was born with the face of RMD or despite his age, the world all over would be drooling over his “intellectual capacity and superiority” everyday.

Alas, he has to show results everytime unlike others and like Lagos that has become extra excellent following his early touch in the early 2000s, he will, no doubt, turn the fortunes of Nigeria around whether his adversaries like it or not.

Time will tell but signs are now there. Like the signs, we will also be there at the right time cos it is going to happen.
