🇵🇰 AI VIDEOS, OPEN THREATS, AND CENSORSHIP: PAKISTAN’S MILITARY GOES AFTER IMRAN KHAN

Imran Khan’s sisters have watched the situation go from frightening to surreal.

But this latest twist: Pakistan’s military publicly attacking Imran with insults, threats, and even AI-generated fake videos, feels like a line they never imagined would be crossed.

The military held a press conference where they banned Imran Khan’s name, accused him of being a national security threat, and even said they were ready to “fight bare knuckles.”

For a former PM with massive public support, that kind of language is unheard of.

Uzma Khan says the message was obvious: the military leadership is desperate, they feel threatened, and they’re now using the entire institution to defend one man, Army Chief Asim Munir.

"They are mentally unstable, and everything shows he [Munir] is directly supervising this press conference.

He's using the entire institution to defend himself.

He [Imran] said if they do something to me, he [Munir] is the one responsible.

They were testing the waters these last four weeks, seeing how the public would react.

We won’t let it reach that stage, we will be watching."

Both of Imran Khan’s sisters (Uzma and Aleema) say the pattern is painfully clear: every week, the prison tightens restrictions, limits visits, and tries to cut Imran off from anyone who can repeat his message to the outside world.

Uzma says Imran Khan told her directly that authorities are trying to break him, but he refuses to bend. And when the host brings up how family members are now being banned from seeing him, Aleema jumps in with a blunt explanation: Imran is not being offered freedom, he’s being offered silence.

Aleema explains that the middle ground everyone talks about doesn’t actually exist, because Imran Khan can’t accept a deal that gives up basic rights.

Imran’s only demands are rule of law, democracy, and basic human rights, and the establishment wants him to drop exactly those principles in exchange for personal relief.

According to Aleema, he won’t do it.

From deepfakes targeting his sisters to military spokespeople labeling him “anti-state,” she says the system is openly rewriting reality, and punishing anyone who refuses to go along with it.

"People keep asking us to find a middle ground, but my brother has only ever talked about rule of law, democracy, and human rights.

Which one of these rights do the people of Pakistan want to give up? Because he has never asked for anything for himself.

The establishment is offering him personal relief, but he says he will not come out on their terms. They must agree to fair and free elections.

He keeps warning that tyranny is not a sustainable model and eventually people rise up against it.

A military spokesman has declared that anyone who criticizes him is anti-state. Is this an open declaration of martial law?

We may all end up in jail, but we are willing to do this for our country."

Imran Khan’s sister, Aleema Khan, describes a level of fear and uncertainty that goes far beyond politics.
Rumors were spreading outside the prison that something might have happened to Imran Khan while he was being kept in isolation.

Aleema explains that these rumors didn’t come out of nowhere.

She says people close to the situation believe the isolation, the silence, and the controlled information around Khan could be a “test run”: a way to see how the public reacts if something truly dangerous happens to him.

She also describes violent treatment of her own family, including their 71-year-old sister being dragged by the police, and how the authorities allegedly used AI-generated fake videos to smear them.

For Aleema, none of this feels random.

She says this is what happens when a government tries to intimidate a political movement while avoiding accountability, and that the people of Pakistan are growing angrier, not more afraid.

"They are trying to break him, but he will not break.

My brother says tyranny is not a sustainable model, eventually people rise up.

The only name he has ever mentioned is Asim Munir, and that is not the entire military.

They used AI deepfakes of me and my sister to frame a false narrative.

When they attack women like this, it does not sit well with the people of Pakistan."

Urgent appeal to international media, UN Human Rights Council, EU, US, UK & all democracies:

Today’s DG ISPR press conference by Pakistan military spokesman Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry contained open threats against imprisoned former PM Imran Khan & hundreds of PTI political workers already in illegal detention.

These were not veiled warnings — they were explicit threats of further abuse, fabricated cases & physical harm issued on record by the official military spokesman.

This is a direct assault on democracy, free speech & human rights.

The world cannot stay silent while a serving military officer publicly terrorizes elected leaders & citizens.

We urge the international community to:
•Immediately condemn these threats
•Demand safety & due process for Imran Khan & all political prisoners

Pakistan deserves democracy, not dictatorship in uniform.
