I keep writing and deleting cause I can’t find the words to describe the level of loss we Gazans are feeling right now. Can you imagine your whole world being wiped out? Everything. The level of destruction we’re seeing is beyond any words. Our homes, our landmarks, our schools, our universities, our restaurants, literally everything. Israel’s intent was to always remove Gaza from the map. They destroyed our city intentionally. They bombed our ancient landmarks to remove any proof of Palestinian history… I just can’t explain what I feel when I’m seeing all of my favourite places flattened. My whole city flattened. Everything I grew up with flattened.

Actually- its really quite easy to see the truth when you become loyal to it- even it is evident against yourself.

Israel is an occupation of Palestinian lands. This is its foundation and its legacy. Palestinians did not fight “Israelis” to create Palestine. Israel on the other hand, swooped into Palestinian lands as barefooted refugees, and claimed ownership; and since have ethnically cleansed millions of Palestinians.

You call Hamas’ defensive attacks as “massacre” without even having solid evidence that such was carried out. And before commenting with biased sources- do know that even Haaretz refuted these claims and has been shut down because of it.

You conveniently term Israel’s ongoing active GENOCIDE, “killings.” A genocide that has killed nearly 18000 people in 6 weeks- most of whom are children.

You also neglected to mention the one going Israeli crack downs and massacres in The West Bank - where there is no Hamas. I am sure that you have been following the multiple hunting streaks against Palestinians in Jenin, Nablus and Ramallah for over a year now.

There are no two sides here. There are no two equals.

There are the victims- Palestinians.
And there are the perpetrators of the most heinous crimes on earth- The Israelis.

That is it!

You might not like it and thats your opinion. But history is not sensitive to our emotions or allegiances.

Take it or leave it.

But do not try to corrupt it!
