@ntvuganda @ntvuganda Govt through @mofpedU should tax @Parliament_Ug MPs' allowances, reinstate WHT on agricultural supplies but at 0.5% (not 1%) and revise minimum PAYE and rental tax threshold from 235k per month to 410k per month

@BoboliEmmanuel @benmwine @UgParliament @mofpedU I think this is a fair proposal as it was also proposed by @ICPAU1 in Sep 2025. for clarity, MPs only suffer PAYE on their basic salary and not allowances. @Parliament_Ug needs to bear their fair share of PAYE especially on the allowances @kyamageroandrew
