One of my favorite Russell Wilson stories dates back to right after he was drafted. The Seahawks had just signed free agent QB Matt Flynn to a 3-year, $26M deal — mega money at the time.
Wilson, the undersized 3rd-round pick, not only won the starting job, but went on to win NFL Rookie of the Year — and soon after that lead Seattle to its first-ever Super Bowl title.
It didn’t always come easy for Russ, but he undoubtedly went on to become one of the best quarterbacks of a generation, Walter Payton Man of the Year and a surefire Hall of Famer. 💯💯
Brandon Aiyuk continues one of the most bizarre career collapses in NFL history… the moral of the story? Don’t try to strong-arm John Lynch for more money… it all went downhill from there… way, way down…

The Bengals have never looked this motivated.
