May was an absolute bloodbath that has left my Amz business on life support.
Two crucial events occured, both out of my control, but maybe foreseeable idk.
Had gone deeper month-on-month on my two best ASINs (as per pareto 80/20), but May saw me lose both.
First two the dreaded 'we believe you to be a reseller email', the second as a result of one piece of customer feedback.
33% of my inventory is in the second ASIN(s), and it is sitting stranded as I battle a negative, and false, product review. Which, despite having all the invoices from a UK distributor, is an uphill battle as the responses from csmbrandreview are mainly non-sensical.
As a result my sales have gone through the floor. I found myself re-gated (mostly ungated again after re-applying) in loads of brands I have in stock in FBA and it has been massively frustrating.
FBA as a 3rd party seller seems incredibly perilous where a dubious customer review or a bad actor can derail your business and you have almost no recourse bar email, which seems automated.
Still battling brand review, and hopefully get back on the listings, set up Joelister to list all my Amz inventory on eBay, and going into the trenches to source and get my sales back on track.
Anyone who has any experience of battling and beating brand review please drop me a DM.
In the middle of a battle to get listings re-instated at the moment.
One bad (and false) product review can create absolute carnage for Amazon sellers and dealing with seller support is incredibly challenging.
Keeping complete records and invoices is essential when running an FBA business.
Lost my best two selling products this month too. Tough month!
Try it mate. Coffee is great in the morning and definitely helps with fatigue. Unless you start drinking loads, a couple of cups a day is not going to turn you into a raving addict.
I listen to Huberman and coffee has a quarter life of ten hours so I don’t drink it within 10 hours of sleep.
