This was just 2021!!
Less than 2 years to the governorship election in Lagos! This was what he said about Yoruba people!!
No way on earth will you convince me that GRV sees himself as Yoruba!
He was and still with Ipob in flesh and blood!
He had no guts to call TK a bigot!!
"Our youth spend a lot of time on social media, believing the lies that our Economy is not working, which is not true. Since President Tinubu came in 2023, CAC has registered about 320,000 new companies. That's an indication that the economy is growing, that means that there is investor's confidence. When you don't position for growth, you miss the curve." — Analyst Obafemi George

Changing your mind is allowed, no be so?
People who CONDEMNED Peter Obi in 2012 should be free to COMMEND him in 2022: 10 years is enough for anyone to change his/her mind, abeg.
Let the Hypocrites BREATHE...
😎✌🏾
I remembered when Bola Ahmed Tinubu in his campaign talked about widening the Tax net, Obidients which included me at the time run around with it and jokingly mocked him by calling him a tax collector.
On a closer observation over time I realised that given the conditions of the economy, it made no sense not to have an effective tax system. Governance needs money to run and in our case trillions of dollars has been sunk into subsidy on fuel and dollars.
What Nigerians should appreciate this administration for especially on the tax law is that the government realised it needs money through tax but at the same time shouldn't place the burden on the people. The poor and the vulnerable wouldn't pay and payments only increases as income/profits increases. The elites who saw this as a direct attack on their wealth used gullible Nigerians to fight the tax law. This is one of the reasons I don't rate Obidients. They're not the smartest.
@iamegbuna@JohnFanimokun Was Tinubu the president after Jonathan? The people voted for Buhari because he was a general in the Army and even Atiku voted for him, why blaming Tinubu for believing in a general
President Tinubu Ended Fuel Subsidy, So Where Is the Money He Saved Going?
Good question. And without beating around the bush, I will show you five key areas where the money saved is going.
In April 2023, just a month before the handover of power from General Buhari to President Bola Tinubu, JP Morgan, in a report titled 'Nigeria: Reform Pause Rather Than Fatigue', exposed that the Buhari administration actually left Nigeria with a net foreign reserve of $3.7 billion, rather than the $14 billion they claimed in public. From that meagre amount, the Tinubu government has raised our foreign reserves to $50.26 billion, as of Monday, June 8, 2026, our highest level in seventeen years.
You may ask why Nigeria needs such high reserves. It is to protect our economy against future economic shocks arising from a crash in exports, to help pay for vital goods and services we need from overseas, and, finally, to guarantee our loans.
Each state in the federation is now receiving at least double (some more than double) what they were getting under General Buhari when Nigeria still operated the subsidy regime. For example, the Federation Account Allocation Committee distributed a total of ₦725.571 billion as revenue to the three tiers of government in March 2022. However, for the same period in 2026, namely March 2026, the FAAC disbursed ₦2.036 trillion to the three tiers, which is three times what they received under General Buhari's regime.
Under President Tinubu, all six geopolitical zones now have development commissions, including the Northwest Development Commission, North-Central Development Commission, Northeast Development Commission, Southwest Development Commission, Southeast Development Commission, and the Niger Delta Development Commission.
These commissions have been receiving approximately ₦2.5 trillion annually under Tinubu, a new subvention they did not receive under the Buhari administration, because most of them did not even exist.
Over a million indigent Nigerian students are now receiving approximately ₦300 billion as loans under the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) initiative of President Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda.
Infrastructure: No other administration in the history of this nation has democratised road construction to the extent that the Tinubu government has done, simultaneously connecting the Southwest with the South-South via the 750-kilometre Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway being built for ₦15 trillion, linking the Northwest to the Southwest with the 1068-kilometre Illela-Sokoto-Badagry Superhighway costing ₦13 trillion, and bridging the gap between the Southeast and the entire North through the 465-kilometre Trans-Saharan Road is being constructed at a price of an estimated $750 million.
Although there are more, these are five tangible areas where you can see the subsidy savings at work. Before the Tinubu government was inaugurated, we had a paltry foreign reserve and most states had a several-month backlog of wages. Today, states are no longer owing salaries because of increased subventions from the Tinubu-led Federal Government.
Nigerians can feel the impact of three years of the Tinubu administration, which is the first time in our history that we have not experienced strikes by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, because lecturers are now well paid, while students are receiving non-interest student loans.
The six regions now have their development commissions, and they are well funded. In addition, road and rail works are ongoing across all geopolitical zones.
So, with these facts in mind, it is a fallacy for anyone to say that the President ended the fuel subsidy regime, but you don't know where the money saved from that wasteful programme went. The funds went towards improving your life and Human Development Index as a Nigerian through the initiatives listed above!

PBAT lovers, make we camp here! ⛺️
They said we’re not up to 10. 😂😂 Even if we’re just 10, let’s pack ourselves together and follow one another for maximum support!
Drop your handles, retweet, and let’s connect! 👇💅
The useless yeyebrities that have collected 30 million naira each will not tell you NA over 50 terrorists neutralised in recent operations.
Your own is to retweet fake news thinking you're doing good governance with a paid propagandist!
Meanwhile:
No, Pastor Paul Adefarasin, Nigeria is not dead. She is very much alive and thriving!
As open a society as America is, there are limits on freedom of speech, such that pastors, priests, and other religious clerics cannot legally endorse, attack, or ask their congregations to support or donate money to a candidate while they are in church and acting as ministers of God. If they do, they will lose their (501(c)(3)) status and face other punitive measures.
The same is true in the United Kingdom.
So, why would Nigerian clerics think they can stand on their altars and pulpits and begin attacking or endorsing specific candidates, undermining the government of the day, or say things like "Nigeria is dead", while others call for revolutions?
In case Pastor Paul Adefarasin is not aware, the reason Nigeria became bankrupt and was almost a beggar nation in the early eighties, when his father's ₦18,000 salary was so high, was that the Nigerian naira was strictly pegged to the US dollar under President Shehu Shagari's administration.
What that meant was that the Naira was tied to the value of the US Dollar, not to the productivity of the Nigerian economy, meaning that Nigeria had to cover the gap between the real value of the Naira, which was then abysmally low, and its pegged value, by frittering away our foreign reserves and taking on loans.
That is why the Shagari Administration was forced to introduce major national austerity measures on Wednesday, April 21, 1982, or the Nigerian economy would have collapsed!
To put things in proper perspective, since President Bola Tinubu introduced the Naira's flotation, which is the same economic policy driving the US Dollar, Nigeria's GDP has consistently grown at an average of 4% per annum.
By contrast, when Paul Adefarasin's father was Chief Judge of Lagos, and, according to him, was earning ₦18,000, Nigeria experienced economic recession, and our GDP did not grow. It shrank.
In 1981, our GDP growth rate was -20.8%. In 1982, it was -10.3%. In 1983, it was -5.0%.
And why were we having negative growth rates under Shagari, when Justice Adefarasin was Chief Judge of Lagos?
Because Nigeria was using the money we should have used to fund our economic growth to defend the Naira, which was pegged to the US Dollar.
Pegging a currency to the US dollar demands massive foreign reserves, and when you deplete your foreign reserves, you will have to borrow!
In contrast, since President Bola Tinubu floated the Naira, Nigeria has experienced an UNPRECEDENTED 12 cycles of GDP growth and trade surpluses.
Nigeria’s GDP growth rate for the full year 2024 was 3.38%. It was 3.87% in 2025. In 2026, the IMF projects that our GDP will grow above 4%.
And yet someone is saying our country is dead, then nostalgically painting the early eighties as a utopian period of economic bliss?
We are not all suffering from amnesia!
This is an area in which I am an authority, as I have a Master's in Law from England and completed my dissertation on International Banking and Finance Law before working in the British Parliament.
Nigeria under Shagari was a dumping ground for imports from all over the world. We were importing toothpicks and pizzas, and had a negative trade balance.
Today, under President Tinubu, the IMF listed Nigeria as the sixth-largest contributor to global GDP growth in 2025.
We now have a positive trade balance and have added $67 billion to the economy, having moved from a GDP of ₦269.29 trillion on May 29, 2023, when Asiwaju became President, to ₦372.8 trillion today.
How many Nigerian Pentecostal pastors had private jets, private runways, Rolls-Royces and private universities in the eighties? Today, is that not their lifestyle?
If Nigeria were dead, would Adefarasin be driving around Lagos in various high-end luxury vehicles and getting into road rage incidents with fellow motorists and pedestrians, which necessitated police intervention?

The Choice for Kaduna Central – Why Senator Shehu Sani is the Path Forward Speaker: Prof. Kailani Muhammad, DG
Confederation of APC Support Groups Good afternoon, gentlemen of the press, and more importantly, my fellow brothers and sisters across the length and breadth of Kaduna Central. We are gathered here today at a critical crossroads in our political journey. We are not here simply to discuss the mechanics of an election or the technicalities of party loyalty.
We are here to talk about the soul of our district. We are here because the people of Birnin Gwari, Giwa, Igabi, Chikun, Kajuru, and our metropolitan heart in Kaduna North and South are asking for something more than a representative. They are asking for a voice that doesn’t just whisper in the hallowed chambers of Abuja, but one that roars for the common man right here at home.
As the Director General of the Confederation of APC Support Groups, my responsibility is to look beyond the surface. My duty is to identify those who can best bridge the gap between the government and the grassroots. When we look at the landscape of Kaduna Central, one name stands out as a symbol of courage, consistency, and raw empathy: Senator Shehu Sani. Many of you remember his first tenure.
He didn't sit in a high office and forget the dust on the roads to our villages. He was the Senator who told the truth when it was hard to say.
He was the one who broke the culture of secrecy by publicly declaring his earnings, proving that he believed the people were the true owners of the mandate. He was the man who stood as a shield against policies and loans that would have burdened our children’s children with debt they did not ask for.
Politics in this country can often feel robotic and cold. It is too often about "directives" from above and cold "calculations" for personal gain. But we are tired of robotic leadership. We need a Senator who is human, someone who feels the heartbeat of the streets. We need a leader who truly understands the deep-seated pain of the farmer in Birnin Gwari who cannot go to his field because of fear. We need a representative who sees the silent struggle of the youth in Kaduna South who are looking for a spark of hope.
We need a Senator who possesses the international stature to bring global attention to our needs, yet has the local heart to sit on a simple mat and listen to the wisdom of our elders. We are not just talking about potential; we are talking about a proven track record. We are talking about the man who gave us water when we were thirsty, the man who gave our children classrooms to learn in, and the man who stood as a lone voice to protect our state from a mountain of debt.
From the solar lights in our streets to the hospitals in our villages, Shehu Sani’s footprints are everywhere."Specific Achievements of Senator Shehu Sani (Kaduna Central, 2015–2019) Legislative Oversight and National Integrity Chairman, Senate Committee on Local and Foreign Debts: He famously blocked a $350 million World Bank loan requested by the then-state government. He argued that the state's debt profile was already unsustainable and that the loan would "trap future generations in a mountain of debt.
" Champion of Transparency: He was the first Senator in Nigeria’s history to publicly disclose the exact "running costs" and salaries of lawmakers (₦13.5 million monthly), breaking the long-standing culture of secrecy in the National Assembly. Asset Declaration: He set a standard for accountability by publicly declaring his assets upon taking office, encouraging other public officials to do the same.
to local vigilante groups and security outfits, especially in the banditry-prone areas of Birnin Gwari and Giwa. Conflict Resolution: Using his background as a human rights activist, he personally intervened in several communal clashes, promoting peace dialogues between different ethnic and religious groups in Kaduna.
With the defection of @PeterObi and the consistent complaints of Obidients about character of politicians changing parties, I carefully and patiently waited to hear what the propagandists of Peter Obi on Arise would say. Sadly, @ruffydfire the weeping prophet chose to be quite like a graveyard, because he might be forced to eat his words. whilst the clown @ayomairoese was instead of talking about unstable political characteristics of Obi, chose to make a case for his right to defect. This is the hypocrisy of the media and fake news-ness of propagandists masquerading as neutrals. Shame on Rufai and Ayo

"When Dollar was equal to Naira, Peugeot was assembling cars in Kaduna, Volkswagen was producing their brand from Lagos. Leyland was rolling out Trucks from Ibadan while Anamco produce buses from Enugu. Dunlop and Michelin were making Tyres for these vehicles. The Windscreen for those vehicles were made by Oluwa Glass and one other company in Ibadan(I've forgotten the name offhead) Even car batteries were produced locally while Berec was making Radio batteries.
In secondary school, during long holiday, I was employed as Time keeper at Federal Secretariat during the construction
Textile factories litters the place not to mention plastic factories. All these companies have distributors all over the country. Peugeot distributor in Calabar then will most likely be a Calabar person(no monopoly). Late Ooni of Ife Oba Sijuade was Peugeot distributor in Ile-Ife before he became king.
In 1979 when Alex Ekweme became the vice president, he was controlling the economy and introduce import licence. Getting a licence became difficult like going to heaven but not for his Ibo brothers. Companies like UAC and 7Up cried out for not getting licence to bring their products and raw materials. The Ibos that got the licence enter China, India and Taiwan with it bringing fake and substandard products. Many houses catch fire because of substandard electrical Cables from China. No cable is better than those made by Nigeria Wire Company in Ikeja till today.
Dunlop and Michelin left Nigeria because of fake tyres they brought into the country that killedthe local manufacturer. Mind you, all those companies employed thousands of Nigerians(when these animals says no employment today, they killed all the companies that would have employ people). Atlantic Textile Mills alone in Ikeja had over ten thousand staffs. Royal Paints, Dulux Paints, PZ Industries. Thermocool was making refrigerator. Bolous Enterprises in Ikeja was assembling Suzuki while Honda in Otta roll out Honda products. Asaba Textiles in Asaba even had football club that plays in division one then. Can you imagine what the value of Naira will be today if we are not importing all these things? They killed the local producers to become sole importers from China.
One animal who have been doing importation for more than 30 years and have not stop will say "I want to move Nigeria from consumption to production"
They killed Nigeria Airways, Nigeria National Shipping Line, Nigeria Railways!
They killed Nigeria!
Obasanjo said Nigeria Airways had 47 functional planes when he hand over to Shagari/Ekweme in 1979. Just 20 year later in 1999 when he came back as president, only 4 grounded plane was remaining. They killed Nitel and set fire on its building.
Nigeria was able to make great achievements after the war became Ibos were not in position of decision making after the war. Middle Belts, Niger Delta, Yoruba and Northerners were in position of policy making in Nigeria when those companies and Industries sprang up.
They sabotage every good thing we achieved.
Nigeria had it's highest GDP when Ibos were not around to import useless things even though Nigeria was fighting a war.(God bless Awolowo economy)
Following the recent assassination attempt on the American President, disturbing reports have emerged about an individual identified and family man, Oriyomi Soyoye @SgtShow01, who made a tweet calling for the assassination of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a family man and sitting President @DOlusegun@OfficialDSSNG
This is deeply alarming and disturbing. Any public call for violence against a sitting President is not only reckless but dangerous, regardless of intent. Such statements go beyond the boundaries of free speech and enter the territory of incitement. @OfficialDSSNG
The situation is even more concerning given claims that he is affiliated with the U.S. military. Individuals with any form of training or access to security knowledge must be held to a higher standard of responsibility.
The same individual called the assassination attempt on President Trump, a dramatic act even accused one of the ladies seated close to P. Trump of not rehearsing well. @UnderSecT
This is not something that should be ignored or dismissed. Relevant security agencies both in Nigeria and America should urgently review this matter and take appropriate steps where necessary.
I will be formally petitioning the appropriate authorities, as public safety must never be compromised. Freedom of speech does not extend to threats or calls for violence, and there must be accountability.
There is freedom of speech.....freedom after speech?
Attached are his tweets. His picture and that of his wife.
