@ListerLawrence Not an isolated incident sadly and why I don't use my EV for longer journeys any more. More like an hour per vehicle in colder weather.
@Chris_Pickering That’s a very valid point @Chris_Pickering but if sensible upgrades to brakes etc. allow more use as a daily driver, then great. But as a toy, I agree with you.
@RalphHosier Happy to chat Ralph as someone who co-created a specialist EV pre-Tesla Roadster and has run an EV for the last 4 years. The issues and limitations haven’t changed but we can’t continue to burn fossil fuels.
@finney_sir @wendywarri @TheSun@Channel4 Ok. Don’t watch it then but do you really need to comment on an NHS midwife’s Twitter account who is being recognised for taking unpaid leave to support those in Ukraine? Why don’t you share your own charitable achievements instead?
@Chris_Pickering Obviously taking battery packs from crashed Model S’s yields a limited carbon footprint. But yes, new packs in a 1,500 mile a year classic makes no sense from a lifecycle analysis point of view. But owners should be free to choose what they want to do.
How many people still visit aircraft and other war transport in museums?
Dick Winters and his Band of Brothers jumped out of perfectly serviceable aircraft and you can still see those displayed today.
Find out how often we visit in the National Opinion Poll coming soon.
The good citizens of Verona really know how to roll the good things in life together and make a proper "gara" of it.
Sadly the National Opinion Poll on public interest in heritage transport - to be published soon - did not expressly capture that precise demographic.
Tackling future challenges often needs old skills, knowledge of the fundamental way things work. Old and new complementing each other to build a bigger picture.
Support heritage skills training. Be part of the solution.
