Held to a draw today against @FcWinster in a game where we had a lot of possession but couldn't quite find a way through, a long range strike put the host in front early on but we battled on and pushed for the equaliser which didn't come until late in the second half from a pen!

Kicking off our first cup game today and we are on the road to face Winster, we'd tag the but as their train carriage changing room is the most advanced technology they have we doubt they use twitter!!!

As a small local team, I hope the others such as @BuxworthFC @TuptonFc @TipsytoadFC @fc_jbm @BollingtonFC @HayfieldClub agree that there needs to be more support in the lower leagues from government and in general from the @FA to provide balls, pitches. And other amenities now!

Tough game against a side at a pitch with a 45 degree incline @BuxworthFC, silly mistakes cost us, but we managed to fight back with a good free kick from Swan, and a clever finish from fletch in the second half for a 2-2 draw even though we clearly deserved the win, #SeeYouSoon

Unlucky today with a game we should have really put to bed, silly mistakes cost us the 3 points from a generally decent performance, goal from Iball today drew us level just before half time and a late strike from them sealed the 3 points. MOTM to Iball and captains Cup to joel!

Brilliant man of the match performance from youngster Dec after coming on for injured chaz gyte, and a captains Cup performance from Carl at left back was well deserved. And dick of the day to keenan for a very obviousfoul throw!! 😂😂 We go again next week in our first away game
