@SpeakServeGrow They actually build in annual
increases in the standard deduction, and credits and certain caps and deductions It does not specifically correlate with actual inflation but it does adjust for it.
To everyone clutching their pearls over this: the Bible is a foundational book for all of Western literature. It’s also a history book. It can and should be taught in schools because if you start looking for it, Bible themes and stories are referenced in EVERYTHING and if you don’t know the gist of it you will be lost. Bible stories/jokes are common references in stinking kids movies for crying out loud.
🚨SHOCKING: 14-Year-Old BLACK Boy Arrested for Brutal Rape of Young Mom in Home Invasion
A 14-year-old Black boy has been arrested for the horrific rape of a 23-year-old mother in Mastic Beach. The teen allegedly broke into her home, strangled, stabbed, and robbed her before brutally raping her in front of her terrified 4-year-old daughter. The young victim fled naked and bleeding, clutching her child.
Police say DNA from the disturbing crime scene led to the quick arrest. The boy’s Black accomplice remains on the run. Neighbors are horrified by the savage attack. The juvenile faces up to 10 years in prison.
This case exposes a disturbing new low in youth crime.
The mentally handicapped are a very small class of ppl in the population and would never drive market wages as a whole. Nothing anyone will say or no example will change my mind. These high minimum wages for jobs that don’t market it are ultimately going to lead to the elimination of those jobs. A robot can make coffee at Starbucks, work at McDonald’s,
@educator4ever36@fckthscrap Imagine a mentally handicapped person who would like to sweep floors at the hardware store but his service isn’t worth minimum wage. Working for a lower wage would provide him with purpose and give him the opportunity to meaningfully contribute. We shouldn’t ban low value work.
Call me any name you want, because my followers know I’m neither Democrat nor Republican, but I’m all for this. And blah, blah, blah on the excuses against it because I’m not really interested. We need to pay living wages in America. It’s that simple.
@DonKAriel@educator4ever36 There are many small employers 10 and less - even 5 and less and these high mandated wages are crushing small small business. I’ve actually reduced hiring over the years because ppl want 50.00 hr to enter stuff in quickbooks -
@DonKAriel@educator4ever36 I’m not interested in wages in the Congo - that’s their problem, I just think that the job and market should dictate the rate - if someone wants you to clean up
Shit for 15.00 hr and you want 35.00 - don’t work for that. If no one works for 15.00 the rate goes up
I support free market wages in the USA. The market should set the wage. If you want to hire baristas and you offer them all 7.00 an hr and they don’t want to with for it that forces the wage up. If you feel a job is not paying enough - refuse to accept it, if none accepts it - the rate of pay increases -
We stopped disciplining children and started diagnosing them.
Now we have a country full of adults who think everything is someone else's fault.
Tell me I’m wrong.
