F-Droid 1.16.3 is out! We recommend all users to update to this release. It fixes a serious issue rending F-Droid unusable after Android version upgrade (for example, Android 12 to 13).
We identified a serious bug with F-Droid 1.16 through 1.16.2 when doing an Android version upgrade (e.g.: Android 12 to 13), causing F-Droid to end up in a broken state with no apps available and update checking not working.

On Google Play many FOSS apps contain non-free trackers. That often enough prevents apps from getting into the official https://t.co/llniymcXIF repo. So may apps provide a build flavor without non-free dependencies for F-Droid.
