BBIG Team visited the boxwood country - Oregon, seeing the latest research being put into practice and hailing growers' effort to produce and ship blight-free boxwood plants.
Tsuga ‘Traveler’ and Tsuga ‘Crossroad’ originated from a breeding project begun in the 1990s when the U.S. National Arboretum attempted to develop a hemlock tree that would resist attack by the invasive hemlock woolly adelgid (HWA) insect.
