@RorySmith @martynziegler Not sure the Swiss model has made the European competitions more interesting (e.g. the early CL games are largely meaningless now). The driving motivation has surely been to allow for more games. Does anyone want more international qualifiers?

But it’s regulars who create the atmosphere, not visitors, so if tickets are priced for once in a lifetime trips it obviously affects the atmosphere.

One of the many wonderful things about this win is the number of people who were preparing their ‘well Arsenal shouldn’t complain about decisions they should have the mentality to go and win if anyway’ scripts and we did.
