Il film di Jane Schoenbrun “Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma” ha vinto la Queer Palm al festival del cinema di Cannes.

Per la nostra inviata speciale a Cannes, i titoli più forti visti finora sono Fjord e El Ser Querido.
Se il secondo sembra meno vicino alla Palma d’Oro, potrebbe però dire la sua per la miglior regia o per il premio al protagonista. Inizialmente i favoriti erano Fatherland e All of a Sudden, ma nelle ultime ore si fanno sempre più insistenti i nomi di La Bola Negra e Hope.
Il film che sembra invece aver davvero messo tutti d’accordo è Fjord, mentre Hope è stato quello capace di generare l’entusiasmo in sala tra applausi non solo alla première ma anche durante le repliche, cosa che accade raramente.
Per quanto riguarda la “chicca” del festiva inizialmente sembrava fosse Club Kid: delizioso, divertente, ma forse troppo convenzionale rispetto alle aspettative create dal passaparola.
Il vero cult per ora sembra invece essere Jim Queen, il film più consigliato sottovoce e rimasto fuori dalla “bolla” mainstream del festival.
