Federal No. 1 is the City of Washington's oldest Masonic lodge, chartered Sept. 12, 1793, with White House architect James Hoban as our first worshipful master.

Did you know that #DC's @federallodge No. 1 participated in George Washington's Masonic funeral services @MountVernon? This badge was worn by members in 1899 when they returned to participate in centennial memorial observances.
