@C_3C_3 Soft on crime policies also hurt blacks. Most criminals target their own race, so releasing criminals over and over allows them to repeatedly victimize their own people.
@pompousgrass@MilesTrav Try a trailer park. I grew up in an area that was slightly better than a trailer park (you could buy 1/4 acre for like 3k but needed your own septic, etc). Tons of drugs and low IQ behavior. I met some of the nicest and some of the worst white people there. I am white-asian.
@WalkerKortson76@MrDanielBuck According to Grok, they weren't eliminated at all. "Students can still take them—they just don't all count toward the core gen ed requirements anymore."
@marleynomics@LoneStarLegendX@chlorpchlrepta Plenty of people were willing to lie for him. One of the witnesses the defense called upon prejuried himself by lying. They showed him the video evidence showing he wasn't facing the direction of the stands, so he couldn't have seen what happened, and he changed his testimony.
@ZubyMusic Two tier justice also harms minorities. Canada implemented a justice system that went soft on indigenous people; the result was domestic abusers not going to jail and eventually murdering their spouses. I would be shocked if cash free bail isn't harming black communities.
@YYC_drunkard@Babygravy9@MattWalshBlog His parents actually sounded decent. They came from a poorer area in Louisiana and moved to Dallas suburbs for better schools and opportunities. His mom is a stay at home wife and his father worked as finance guy at a dealership.
@TheDealMakerGuy Just curious, why does it seem like Germans downplay Polish accomplishments so much? I see it all the time on reddit r/europe. Seems to be bleeding over to here.
@youngdr0gba@bonchieredstate Most people that leave the US are going home. There aren't many countries that accept US citizens that have no other citizenship. Maybe the Philippines? There are many countries that will accept digital nomads or retirees, but those are a small fraction of US emigration.
@celeste43_@ratlpolicy FiveThirtyEight tracking shows Collins aligned with Obama's positions at high rates like 75.9% in 2013, around 65% with Trump through 2020, and 67-75% with Biden in early terms.
@jason_howerton The fact that he comes from a privileged background makes this even more bizarre and shows the danger of allowing thug culture to infect the minds of properly raised young men.
@nypost How come the sons of rich successful Muslims turn to terrorism? That house is worth over 800k. Those NYC terrorists were worth more. I think their family homes were in the millions and they had a rental portfolio worth more millions.
