people say twitter isn’t the real world and that it’s only people on twitter that are boycotting but it’s real people with real money on this app. i turn my phone off and if i want something to eat i go and get it. we should stop acting like using social media to organize things like boycotts is useless or stupid cause tbh it probably gives us an advantage over our predecessors cause it’s easy to speak to mass amounts of people at once. if this tweet gets 5k likes and all those people refuse to go to mcdonald’s and starbucks and then refuse to spend money on any disney related project then that’s huge. hopefully that number grows and grows enough to where we make change happen
