@kaluleol I applied for Centrelink last year after being made redundant. Took literally 6 months to get a payment, and I have 3 kids to feed. I had to rely on donations from family and charity. This is the system successive governments have created. It's rooted.

@Dancingsmeagol @stuartrobertmp I am so sorry for the stress you must be feeling right now. I went thru it last yr after redundancy. No benefits for 10 yrs but they said I had a debt!? Took 6 months to sort out and finally receive Newstart. I have kids too. The system is a failure.
