19 hours post-transplant and I’m finally sitting up in bed. Most importantly, pain is down from an 11 to about a 6, AND my transplanted kidney is responding and producing urine. I am so thankful for all your prayers, thoughts, and well-wishes. Still a long way, though.

@mattmoneysmith @Theoldp No chicken effin here. Got a call at midnight to receive a kidney for transplant this morning. I almost rejected the offer knowing I’ll prolly miss you guys this season at BJ’s. Yourq PMS blind listener of record is getting a kidney. Love you guys! 🧑‍🦯

Kidney transplant is scheduled for 9am at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Orange. I’ll be recovering in DSU, which is a step down from an ICU. If all things go well, I should be here for 2-3 days. Google Jesse Spano freak out and that’s how I’m feeling right now.

At 12:22am, roughly 90 minutes ago, I received a call that my kidney is waiting for transplant. I’ll definitely update you guys before surgery transplant later this morning. I waited 9+ years on the list and here we are today.

@SubwayListens Hi. Why isn’t the app not able to read me back ingredients when customizing my order using Voice Over? Obviously, I am blind. I want to order a sandwich but the app is making it impossible. It has worked before like in 2021. You guys are also slow to respond/act.
