PSA: There are rattlesnakes in Lefthand OHV.
Our pup found out the hard way and ended up at the vet with 1-2 bites. She's OK, but mainly out of dumb luck -- the snake didn't use much venom.
Bikers will probably be fine, but look out if you're hiking/running.
Giannis is outstanding: “There’s no failure in sports. There’s good days, bad days, some days you are able to be successful, some days you are not, some days it is your turn, some days it’s not. That’s what sports is about. You don’t always win.”
I'm tired of Republicans saying things like "If you want to ban AR-15's then why don't we ban cars since cars kill more people." Here's why this argument actually proves why we need more Gun Laws:
- Cars require a registration.
- Drivers need a license to use them.
- Drivers require insurance in case their car kills/injures someone.
- There are 100's of safety restrictions on cars before they are road-ready.
- A car user needs to pass a test to drive it.
- They also need to take a course in most states.
- There are dozens of restrictions based on age, health, etc.
- You can lose your right to drive a car if you don't use it properly.
- Cars are illegal to use when drunk.
BREAKING: President Biden hits the American people with some brutal honesty and admits that he "can't do anything" about gun violence "except plead with Congress to act reasonably" and says that despite Republicans opposing all sensible gun laws, the majority of the American people think having assault weapons is bizarre" and "a crazy idea." RT TO DEMAND THAT CONGRESS SEND A BILL TO BIDEN'S DESK TO BAN ASSAULT WEAPONS!
#HeyNext Commentary: East High School's second shooting in two months is a reminder that we are asking too much of young people and giving them too little in return.
State Sen. Nathan Dahm (R-OK) has penned several bills loosening gun restrictions, including the nation’s first anti-red flag law. He thinks these bills protect the Second Amendment – and that they make us safer. We think it's probably one or the other. Watch it on @AppleTVPlus.
@feeneyab and I were thrilled to host @wahoofitness Head of Sports Science @nealhenderson in our two Anatomy and Physiology classes today to demo some of the gear he uses to train athletes. Andy volunteered as our human subject to see how high he could get his lactate.
@SenSanders I have been a public school teacher for 20 years. I have some ideas on how we can fix this. @SenSanders DM me if you want to discuss further. Would love to help.
How strong is "strong enough"?
What do you do in training when you get there?
I have a free guide on exactly that
These are the standards I have for our main lifts and how I use these numbers for long term planning
Retweet this and I'll DM it you
