En la necrópolis de Saqqara se encontró en 2022 dentro del ataúd de alguien llamado Ahmose, que vivió hacia el año 300 a.C. (época ptolemaica), un papiro del Libro de los muertos (textos sagrados que servían al difunto para llegar al más allá salvando los obstáculos del camino) de unos 16 m de longitud, escrito en hierático (una forma simplificada de la escritura jeroglífica que usaban los escribas para textos administrativos y religiosos).
También hay en el papiro 10 dibujos o escenas del más allá protagonizadas por los dioses.

Hoy está expuesto en el Museo Egipcio de El Cairo.
