rest in paradise mavo. we tried our best. he fought as hard as he could. today doctors told us he had relapsed and it was time to let him go. he passed peacefully and was surrounded by family. he was so brave. he didn’t deserve this at all.

@ramones_shirt i got him checked up a few days ago and his x ray was actually done today. enzo has no signs of the bacteria so we’re in the clear. he’s just been sad that he can’t see his best friend :(

doctors were so impressed with mavo's improvement that they decided he was ready to go home today. he is soooo happy to be back, he was sniffing around everywhere and we're letting him rest now. we're glad he's improving! time to start his 12 month recovery process 😬

amazing news! after 9 days of not eating, mavo is finally having meals. doctors had to lower his itraconazole dosage (anti fungal medicine), and his appetite started coming back. this is a huge step forward because they were really getting worried about his deteriorating health.
